Mr. Farris has been practicing law in St. George since 1995. His practice areas focus on business entities, commercial transactions, contract litigation, real property, subdivision, trust deed foreclosures.
Mr. Farris practices mainly in the area of civil litigation in both the federal courts and state courts.
He has served as both President and as a member of the board of directors (1996-2007) with the Southern Utah Bar Association. He was appointed and served for seven years as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Fifth District Court of Utah.
His undergraduate was commenced in Denmark, and then completed at Brigham Young University with a BS in International Marketing with emphasis in the languages of Danish and Spanish. His Juris Doctorate was awarded from the J. Reuben Clark Law School.
He represents a variety of corporate and individual clientele; including clients in Denmark, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom and Germany. He is an instructor for the Utah Administrative Office of the Courts for the training courses attended by the Justice Court Judges of Utah. He is a regular lecturer with the National Business Institute. In the Spring of 2010, he was a guest lecturer in China at the Nanjing School of Law to present seminars on American Law.
